Trust, Security & Privacy

This page is maintained by Tax Easy India to answer common questions about how we handle your tax, GST, and business data. It describes our current practices and is not an independent certification or audit.

Who we are

Tax Easy India is a tax and compliance services firm serving individuals and businesses across Jammu & Kashmir and the rest of India. We file Income Tax Returns, handle GST registration and returns, ROC filings, and related accounting work.

Access & authentication

Our internal admin dashboard requires sign-in. Administrative actions, including publishing content and managing the topic calendar, are restricted to a single authorised admin account and enforced server-side using role-based access control.

Public visitors can read our website, blog, and calculators without creating an account. We do not require sign-up to use most pages.

Hosting & platform

The website runs on managed cloud infrastructure with HTTPS for all traffic. Application data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database protected by row-level security policies, so each query only returns data the caller is authorised to see.

Lovable provides the underlying hosting and database platform. Their platform features are described factually here and are not presented as a Lovable-issued certification.

What data we collect

For service delivery (ITR, GST, registrations), we collect only the documents and identifiers required for the specific filing — for example PAN, Aadhaar reference, GSTIN, bank statements, invoices, and contact details. We collect this through WhatsApp, email, or in person, and use it only to complete the work you've engaged us for.

On the public website we use standard server logs and may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell personal data.

Retention & deletion

Client records related to tax filings are retained for the period required by Indian tax and company law (typically up to 8 years for tax records). You can request deletion of personal data we no longer need to retain by contacting us at the address below.

Subprocessors & integrations

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the service: our hosting and database platform (Lovable / Supabase), WhatsApp for client communication, and AI providers used to draft tax-education content on the blog. AI-generated articles are reviewed before publication and are general information, not personalised tax advice.

Privacy requests

To access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, email taxeasyhelpdesk@gmail.com from the email address associated with your engagement. We will respond within a reasonable time, typically 30 days.

Reporting a security issue

If you believe you've found a security vulnerability affecting this website or client data, please email taxeasyhelpdesk@gmail.com with details and steps to reproduce. Please do not publicly disclose the issue until we've had a reasonable opportunity to respond.

Compliance

We are a Chartered-Accountant-led practice operating in India and follow applicable Indian tax, GST, and company-law obligations on behalf of our clients. This page does not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or PCI compliance.
