Nano Scheme

Micro-ventures, tiny shops, petty trade and micro-service units

Small-ticket projects — typically up to ₹2 lakh

  • Small-ticket term loan through J&K Bank for first-time entrepreneurs
  • Capital subsidy of 25% (30% up to ₹1 lakh for women and PwD applicants)
  • 5% per annum interest subvention, capped at ₹50,000
  • No third-party collateral for eligible credit-guarantee covered loans

Fresh small and medium manufacturing, processing and service enterprises

  • Capital subsidy of 25% (30% up to ₹1 lakh for women and PwD applicants)

Scaling up, modernising and injecting growth capital into existing units

  • Growth capital for expansion, modernisation and market reach
  • Capital subsidy of 25% (30% up to ₹1 lakh for women and PwD applicants)
  • 5% per annum interest subvention, capped at ₹50,000
  • Credit-guarantee cover for eligible loans instead of third-party collateral

Who is eligible

  • Domicile of Jammu & Kashmir
  • Typically aged 18–40 years, with relaxations as per scheme guidelines
  • New venture (Nano / New MSME's) or existing unit ready to expand (Business Acceleration)
  • Not a wilful defaulter of any bank or financial institution
  • Registered on the Mission YUVA portal with a valid application ID
  • Udyam (MSME) registration at or before disbursement

Process & time period

    Portal registration

    Register on the Mission YUVA portal, choose your scheme and note the application ID.

  2. 2
    Bankable DPR

    We build the project report — cost of project, means of finance, projections, break-even and DSCR — in the format branches accept.

  3. 3
    Branch submission

    File lodged with your designated J&K Bank branch with the full KYC and compliance set.

  4. 4
    Appraisal, interview & sanction

    Branch appraisal and sanction letter with margin, security and repayment terms.

  5. 5
    Disbursement & subsidy claim

    Funds released against invoices; capital subsidy and interest subvention claims lodged.

Overall timeline: typically 3–8 weeks from a complete application to disbursement, depending on scheme, ticket size and branch appraisal.

Documents required

  • Aadhaar and PAN of the applicant (and all partners / directors)
  • Domicile certificate of Jammu & Kashmir
  • Recent passport-size photographs
  • Educational / skill certificate (where the activity requires one)
  • Detailed Project Report (DPR) with cost of project and means of finance
  • Quotations for machinery, equipment or fit-out
  • Proof of business premises — rent agreement, ownership proof or NOC
  • Bank statement of the last 6 months and existing loan details, if any
  • Udyam (MSME) registration — at or before disbursement
  • GST registration, trade licence or FSSAI, wherever applicable
