Why annual ROC filing matters
Every company and LLP registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs must file annual returns and financial statements, whether or not it has done business during the year. Missing a filing attracts ₹100 per day per form with no upper cap, disqualification of directors (Section 164(2)) and eventual strike-off of the company.
