About PMEGP

Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) is a credit-linked subsidy scheme by the Ministry of MSME, implemented through KVIC. It offers 15%–35% margin money subsidy on bank loans for setting up new micro enterprises.

Project ceilings

• Manufacturing — up to ₹50,00,000
• Service / business — up to ₹20,00,000
• 2nd loan (upgradation) — up to ₹1 crore manufacturing / ₹25L service

• Qualification / EDP certificate, caste or category certificate if applicable

• Premises proof — ownership or rent agreement

Process & timeline

1. Day 1 — scheme eligibility and cost discussion
2. Days 2–3 — DPR with subsidy working, projections and ratios
3. Day 3 — delivery + KVIC/KVIB portal application support
